Lusong Coral Garden

Lusong Coral Garden is a shallow-water coral reef site located along the coast of Lusong Island in Barangay Bintuan, Coron. It is recognized as a significant coral reef area within the Calamianes Islands, with documented coral and reef-fish communities. Reef surveys have recorded good live hard-coral cover at the site, making it an important marine habitat as well as a destination for snorkeling and diving. The coral garden is situated near the Lusong Gunboat, a separate World War II-era underwater attraction. A reef assessment classified Lusong Island Coral Garden as non-MPA (not a marine protected area) in the survey period, so it should not be described as a designated marine sanctuary.
