Lusong Gunboat

Lusong Gunboat is a shallow World War II-era shipwreck located off the eastern side of Lusong Island in Coron Bay. The wreck is identified as either a gunboat or submarine chaser and lies in relatively shallow water, with its stern capable of breaking the surface at low tide. Over time, hard corals have colonized the wreck, providing habitat for various marine life. Its shallow setting makes the site particularly suitable for snorkeling, while divers can also explore the underwater wreck. Official planning documents for Coron identify Lusong Island as being under the jurisdiction of Barangay Bintuan.
