Description
Ditaytayan Island is a small island in the Bulalacao island group of Coron, Palawan, known for its long sandbar, white-sand shoreline, and shallow coastal waters. The island lies off the southeastern side of Culion Island and forms part of the island destinations commonly visited from Coron by boat. Its distinctive feature is the prominent sandbar extending from the island, creating an open coastal landscape that changes in appearance with the tide. Ditaytayan is also associated with the Bulalacao Marine Protected Area (MPA), a community-managed marine conservation area established in 2014.
