Fort Sta. Isabel (Kuta)

Fort Santa Isabel, also known as Fuerza Santa Isabel de la Paragua or Taytay Fort, is one of Taytay's most important historical landmarks. Originally established as a wooden palisade in 1667, it was later rebuilt in coral limestone and completed in 1738. The fort served as a Spanish-era defensive stronghold overlooking Taytay Bay. Taytay's drier season from November to May is generally the most comfortable period for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

Recommended times:

🌤️ November–February: Pleasant for walking around the fort. ☀️ March–May: Good for sunny skies and photography. 🌅 3:00–5:30 PM: Ideal for avoiding the strongest midday heat and enjoying softer afternoon light. 🌧️ June–October: Still possible to visit, but expect a greater chance of rain.
