☀️ Best Time to Visit
Interestingly, Kuyawyaw Falls is different from Taytay's island destinations: visiting shortly after rainfall can produce a much stronger waterfall flow. Recent visitor reports specifically recommend visiting after heavy rain or during the rainy season for the most impressive waterfalls.
Best experience:
🌧️ After recent rainfall: Best chance of seeing the falls flowing strongly. 🌤️ Dry season: Better for a more comfortable trail, but water flow may be lower. 🌅 Morning: Recommended for cooler hiking conditions and more time to explore all three falls. ⚠️ During heavy rain: Avoid trekking if the trail or river crossings become dangerous. Always follow local guide instructions. 🎒 What to Bring
Wear proper trekking or water shoes because parts of the trail can become muddy and slippery. Bring drinking water, insect repellent, sun protection, a change of clothes, and a waterproof bag for valuables.
