Atwayan Beach

Atwayan Beach is a small sandy beach on Coron Island, a limestone island within the municipality of Coron. The beach is set in a sheltered coastal cove surrounded by the island’s characteristic limestone landscape and is commonly visited as a stop on Coron island-hopping itineraries, particularly for lunch and beach time. Coron Island is divided into the barangays of Banuang Daan and Cabugao and forms part of the Tagbanua ancestral domain. It is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Centre’s Tentative List as the Coron Island Natural Biotic Area.
