Talisay Beach

El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

Address

El Nido

Palawan, Philippines

Description

Talisay Beach is a small white-sand beach on Tapiutan Island, surrounded by clear water, tropical vegetation, and El Nido’s distinctive limestone scenery. It is commonly visited on Tour C and is known as a relaxing beach stop between the route’s more active swimming and sightseeing destinations.

The shallow coastal waters make the area suitable for swimming, while nearby reef areas can offer snorkeling opportunities when visibility and sea conditions are favorable. Talisay Beach is also traditionally used by some island-hopping groups as a lunch or rest stop during the day.

Best Time to Visit

November to May generally offers the most favorable conditions for island hopping in El Nido, with calmer seas and clearer weather more common during the dry season. From June to October, stronger winds and rougher seas can result in itinerary changes or tour cancellations.

What to Expect

Expect a relatively small and natural beach rather than a developed resort area. Facilities are limited, and several tour boats may arrive during popular visiting times.

Swimming and snorkeling conditions vary with the weather, tide, and water visibility. Bring swimwear, sun protection, drinking water, and a waterproof pouch or dry bag for valuables.

Getting There

Talisay Beach is reached by boat from El Nido and is currently included among destinations used for Tour C. Recent August 2026 El Nido Tourism advisories continue to list Talisay Beach as an authorized Tour C stop, although itineraries can change according to weather, vessel restrictions, and protected-area management.

Responsible Travel

Help protect the beach and surrounding marine environment by taking all waste with you, avoiding single-use plastics where possible, and never touching or standing on living coral. Leave shells and marine life undisturbed and follow your guide’s instructions around swimming and snorkeling areas.
