Seven Commando Beach

Seven Commandos Beach is a scenic white-sand beach in El Nido, framed by coconut palms, forested limestone cliffs, and the clear waters of Bacuit Bay. It is commonly included in El Nido Tour A, making it a popular place to relax after visiting the area's lagoons and snorkeling sites.

Unlike stops centered on kayaking or reef exploration, Seven Commandos Beach is primarily about enjoying the shoreline. Visitors can swim in the shallows, walk along the sand, relax beneath the palms, and take in views across the bay.

Because it is a well-known island-hopping stop, the beach can become lively when several tour boats arrive at the same time.

Best Time to Visit

The generally preferred period for visiting El Nido is November to May, when calmer seas and clearer weather are more common. From June to October, stronger winds, rain, and rougher seas can occasionally affect boat tours.

Weather and sea conditions should always take priority over the season, as island-hopping activities may be modified or suspended for safety. Recent El Nido Tourism advisories demonstrate that access to Seven Commandos Beach can also be temporarily limited when conditions require it.

What to Expect

Expect a tropical beach setting with soft sand, coconut palms, clear water, and dramatic green cliffs behind the shoreline. The beach is popular with island-hopping groups, so it may be busy during peak visiting hours.

Swimming conditions vary with the weather and sea state. Visitors should follow their boat crew or tour guide regarding safe swimming areas and use a life jacket when required.

Getting There

Seven Commandos Beach is most commonly reached by boat from El Nido as part of an organized island-hopping trip and is listed among the attractions associated with Tour A.

It can also be approached by kayak from the Corong-Corong side of El Nido, but independent paddling should only be attempted when weather and sea conditions are suitable and by travelers comfortable kayaking in open coastal waters.
