Description

Pass Island is a small island in the Calamianes group of Palawan, located off the western side of Busuanga Island and commonly visited through island-hopping trips marketed from Coron. A DENR-CENRO-based resource management plan for Busuanga lists Pass Island among the municipality's small islands and islets, with a recorded land area of approximately 11.82 hectares. The island is characterized by a white-sand beach, clear coastal waters, coconut vegetation, and a shallow nearshore reef area. Although often promoted as a “Coron” destination because tours depart from Coron, Pass Island is geographically associated with the Municipality of Busuanga, not the Municipality of Coron.
